Please join us as we host a nomination meeting
for our next Federal
candidate. The only declared candidate for nomination is Peter Thurley.
Dr. Tim Kenyon, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of
Waterloo, will be Mr. Thurley's nominator.
Mr. Thurley currently sits as the President
of the Kitchener-Centre
NDP Electoral District Association, and has been involved with a
variety of community organizations in the Waterloo Region, including
as a volunteer with Out of the Cold and as a member of the board of
directors with Supportive Housing of Waterloo, and the Social Planning
Council of Kitchener-Waterloo.
All members of
the NDP in good standing living within the boundaries
of Kitchener Centre and members at least 30 days prior to the
nomination are entitled to vote. Lapsed 2009 members
may renew at the meeting and be eligible to vote.
